Perfect Mommy

Yes, I want to be a super mom. I want not only my kids but the whole world to talk about my super mommy skills. And if it doesnt sound too blasphemous, a movie about my sacrifices would do good too - P Vasu type movie..total rona dhona!

Okay, now let me bring you to speed with what the reality is. I keep forgetting to dole out the daily dose of multi-vitamin drops to S4 every now and then (its a different story on how I dont believe in supplementary (read artifical) means of providing nutrition). I dont force S3 to gulp her glass of milk, I give in exactly five minutes after she does! And again no calcium/ multi-vitamin drops for her. Some days shen she willings slurps down the last drop, I am beaming wide, but there are no emotional threats, no howls at my mommydom. The final nail in the coffin is served by the fact that I dont follow certain rules myself to set any role model for them.

Forget super mommy status, I sometimes wonder if I deserve to have such wonderful kids at all! And it is high time I invest in some introspection and take corrective measures. It is very difficult for myself to organise myself, but if I dont do it now, it will never happen. So how do I go about it...?

- I need to start inculcating discipline in myself. Which means, I will wake up at 6 am everyday, exercise for half an hour and after the regular chores, leave for work by 8.45 am.
- 1830 hours- reach home. Feed S4, get dinner ready for S3 and feed her before 2000 hrs. Serve dinner to the rest and wrap up cleaning and other chores by 2100 hrs.
- Positively, Certainly, Definitely, Absolutely, Undeniably, Necessarily (have I made my point) read a book to both the kids. This is not substitutable by any other activities inlcuding playing, watching TV (definitely a NO), etc.

The time starts now.......(watch this space for further updates)
